Trisha Corey-Lisle

My mother taught me to knit when I was a young girl, growing up in rural Connecticut.  After many year’s hiatus from knitting—first going to school and raising my family (5 kids!) and then later traveling the world as a Health Economist, I picked knitting up once again.  Knitting proved to be a great way to calm and re-center me after a stressful workday. Over the years I have knit a variety of items for myself, my family, and my friends—but at some point, there were too many items and too few customers!

My knitting always uses natural material, some picked up on my travels: Scotland, Falkland Islands, Switzerland, and of course locally-CT sourced materials.  I hand knit items on natural material needles and it is always a labor of love. Now that I am semi-retired I am happy to join Swift Waters Cooperative of talented artists.

My items can be seen at Swift Waters’ shop or can be custom ordered by contacting me directly. I would be happy to work with you for custom sweaters, coats, vests.
