Stan's photographs show a strong sense of form. They reflect his interest in gardening and nature, and travel. He has traveled in the U.S. and Puerto Rico, as well as Spain and Italy, and Guatemala.
A long-time photographer, Stan's work has been accepted at several Norwich Arts Council (NAC) photo shows and in 2010-2011 at the Slater Museum’s Annual Connecticut Artists Exhibition, where he received an Honorable Mention. His work has also appeared at the Mystic Arts Center Annual Photo Show, and at a Connecticut College Arboretum Annual Photo Contest, where he was also awarded an Honorable Mention. Stan's work won Best in Show at Willimantic’s CooperARTive Fiesta’s first Juried Show.
Stan spent most of his life in Boston and Cambridge and now lives in Norwich, CT. He has been a member of SwiftWaters Artisans' Co-operative for more than five years.
